Do I need to act or be an actor?
No. In Dramatherapy you are not expected to be an actor. The techniques I use involve working creatively with drama, movement, music and voice.

Will I be asked to do things I don't want to do?
No. The dramatherapy sessions will be led by you. You'll not be asked to do anything you are not completely comfortable with.

Where are you based?
I work from a studio in the centre of Lancaster, five minutes walk from Lancaster's rail and bus stations. Lancaster is a small, historic city on the edge of the Lake District.

How long will the therapy last?
There is no set number of sessions. The length of treatment is decided by mutual agreement between you and myself.

Will you be able to help?
Give it a try! After an initial consultation or assessment it will be clearer if Dramatherapy is the best way forward for you.

Are you qualified?
Yes. I am registered with the Health Professions Council and a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists . I am also a qualified mental health nurse (R.M.N.) and have twenty-five years' experience working in therapy and mental health.

How long is each session?
A one-to-one session lasts for an hour

How much do you charge?

My fee is £35 per hour.

Is it confidential?
Yes. Everything is treated in the strictest confidence.
